Hyundai RB concept revealed at Moscow Motor Show

Hyundai has unveiled the RB sub-compact family sedan concept for the 2010 Moscow International Motor Show.  Basically a repackaged Verna / Accent with redesigned bumpers, grille, hood and headlights, the RB is virtually production ready for the Russian market.

The RB will be built at Hyundai's first full-cycle plant in Saint Petersburg, Russia starting in January 2011 followed by the market launch in spring of 2011.

The sub-compact sedan will be available with Hyundai's new 1.6-liter or 1.4-liter Gamma petrol engines with an estimated 124 PS (91 kW / 122 bhp) and 156 Nm (115 lb-ft) and 107 PS (79 kW / 106 bhp) and 135 Nm (100 lb-ft), respectively. A four-speed automatic transmission or a standard five-speed manual will be available for both engines.
